Supporting good causes
the Corpus Christi site in the US makes an annual donation to the United Way* agency. This body provides funding for numerous community organisations assisting individuals in the local area.
Castle Hayne in the US is an active member of the Wilmington Area Local Emergency Planning Committee and Community Advisory Panel. Employees are members of several local and regional health & safety and advisory councils.
Eaglescliffe employees work with local schools on a number of science and engineering projects. Through this school links programme, resource is also given to work experience, career development and the very successful Egglescliffe School music department.
Original member and supporter of the Lower Cape Fear River Program. This program is a scientific based study that looks at the health of the Cape Fear River System. The program is headed by the Center for Marine Science Research at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. In addition to it's scientific charter, the program is a teaching tool used to educate the public and in the public school system.
Major supporter of the Cape Fear Area United Way.
Member of the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. Actively participates in setting priorities with respect to community enhancement and business development.
Corpus Christi supports local education through an 'Adopt a School' programme. Working with Lamar Elementary School, our site provides resource for projects such as industry-focused presentations and science tutorials.
Corpus Christi also offers assistance to local scout groups, student engineering clubs and other groups representative of the area surrounding the plant.
The Castle Hayne facility manages a natural area of 322 acres for camping by Scouts. The area includes nature trails and basic camping sites. The site also routinely supports and participates in area Earth Day activities.
our site in Wisconsin, US supports the local community's efforts to promote a cleaner, healthier environment through the 'Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful' organisation.
LTP generously contributes annually to The United Way*
LTP Milwaukee assists in sponsoring Escuela Vieau, a local public grade school
