  Taking care of safety
Key performance indicators, such as OSHA recordable injury frequency, help us measure our progress in health and safety matters. Across Elementis Chromium this reduced by more than 50% in 2003 compared with 2002.

An incident investigation reporting system is employed across Elementis. This initiative provides a more detailed analysis of the causes of incidents and 'near misses', helping us to improve our health and safety performance further.
