Elementis is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Haaijer as President of Elementis Chromium with effect from January 29, 2007.
Eric joins Elementis from Innophos and its predecessor companies, Rhone Poulenc and Rhodia, where he most recently served as Vice President of Commercial Operations. Prior positions included Vice President of the Industrial Specialties Division and Vice President of Rare Earths and Gallium. Before joining Rhone-Poulenc, Eric spent five years with Alcoa in their Industrial Chemicals Division. Eric holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
Commenting on the appointment, David Dutro, Chief Executive Officer said Eric has tremendous expertise in improving profitability and efficiencies in organizations and I am confident that he will build on the recent successes in Elementis Chromium.
