CA ULTRA™ is a specially designed chromic acid flake that has exceptional properties. It is virtually dust free, has a long, stable shelf life, a fast dissolving rate and low sodium content.

Applications
With the introduction of this product, Elementis Chromium is the only Chromium producer able to offer three different forms of chromic acid to customers. The chromic acid primary uses are in the chrome plating, surface finishing and wood preservation markets. The low sodium content makes this product suitable for use in catalysts and other special applications.

Grades and formulations
CA ULTRA™ is manufactured at our plant in Castle Hayne, North Carolina US. The Castle Hayne plant is the primary Elementis Chromium operation in the US for producing sodium dichromate and chromic acid for the North American and export markets.
